Image & Co - one of the UK's leading female hair replacement specialists required a brand and website upgrade, with a focused strategy that was inline with their goals and ambitions.
Their new web channel needed to reflect the quality and design led approach which is evident through their five-star service, whilst carefully managing historic search engine rank.

Refocusing the spotlight on a five-star salon
Brand
Given the voguish and conceptual nature of the service offering, Image & Co required a bold, conceptual inspired site which delivered visually and secured booking appointments.
With contemporary design at its heart, our plan was to strike the balance between visual design to elevate the brand, yet build a strong functional web experience.
Copywriting & SEO
A large part of building the new site was shaping the content inline with modern SEO practices. Image & Co had come along way since their previous website, so much of the content was outdated, which reflected in their falling SEO positions. We focused on detailed content to support each service with a heavy focus on Hair Replacement Systems and structured doorway pages. This stablised, strengthen and increased their local SEO positions, increasing traffic again to the website.
POS Consultation
We helped Image & Co source a new POS system to replace a legacy platform that didn't meet their needs, after reviewing several we recommended Phorest. The support and documentation was superior to other providers, however the deciding factor was the control over salon promotion and the quality of their mobile app. We created a digital strategy around Phorest and Image & Co's new iPhone and Android app, which is a driving force for new appointments and client communication.
WordPress Website
We developed their website on WordPress with a custom theme using Bootstrap & JSON schema.
Extra attention was spent on performance & security. We used next-gen image formats for compression, served up videos from Vimeo and used WordPress tailored hosting and caching to increase page load. The results were impressive when tested in PageSpeed Insights.
